The approach at Pre Primary is ‘Child Centric’. “Play While Learn and Learn While Play” is the main objective at this level. Emphasis is given on imparting knowledge of the world around the child, developing linguistic & creative skills, fine & gross motor skills.
The approach at this level is ‘Learning by Doing’. We focus in raising the standards of our students capabilities and knowledge by providing best academic models which include communication (written & verbal) skills, research and a great deal of practical thinking skills. We aim at providing best simulative and innovative learning environment across the curriculum, with values deep rooted in our culture with a mindset to be both modern and democratic. A thematic approach is followed to stimulate children through interactive sessions, projects, surveys and other innovative activities. Emphasis on participation of each student in the curricular & co-curricular activities is given along with the strong sense of individuality.
“Play is not a break from learning. It is endless, delightful, deep, engaging, practical learning. It’s the doorway into a child’s heart.”
–Vince Gowmon
Assembly activities are an integral part of the educational experience, contributing to a positive school climate, enhanced learning environment, and the overall growth and development of students. They create a space for learning beyond the classroom, fostering a well-rounded education. In CPS, all students from grade 1 to 10 participate in daily assembly activities with the aim of reducing stage fear and developing confidence in public speaking and teamwork.
The school envisions an education system that encourages students to question, explore, hypothesize and test theories thus building a scientific temperament.
CPS students also participate in celebrating diversity and promoting cultural awareness by showcasing various traditional activities in the morning assembly. This helps students develop an appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
CCA are not just a break from our regular academic routine; they are an integral part of our holistic education. They provide us with opportunities to develop skills and qualities that go beyond textbooks and classrooms.
Every Wednesday, we conduct Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) such as Drawing, Origami, Clay Modelling, Cooking without Fire, Best out of Waste, Diya decoration, Mask Making, etc through which they learn the value of teamwork, cooperation, and leadership.
